Gen 2 tips and tricks
Hey guys, sorry about not blogging lately gen 2 got me all mixed up! So without further a do!
Umbreon And Espeon
We probably know by now that to get evee into vaporeon you name it rainer, flareon is pyro, jolteon is sparky. What about our gen 2 eveelutions umbreon and espeon. Well if you watched the pokemon anime series you might know a trainer named Sakura or one named Tamao. Well, give yourself a patt on the back, you wasted 20 years of year life! (dun, dun, duuuun). Back to the point Name Eevee “Sakura” to evolve it into Espeon
Name Eevee “Tamao” to evolve it into Umbreon. Yep, just like the three evee brothers sakura and tamao originated from the anime. Wait a second! Didn't Ash's pokedex once say evee can only evolve into jolteon, flareon, or vaporeon back in the indigo league! Ash needs to get a refund cause that 'dex' is broken.
Gen 2 increase
Well by now you probably have some gen 2 pokemon but the thing is there is an increased chance of finding them. To test this 30 players set out and went catching and a week later they came back with this result 102 gen 2 pokemon and 69 gen 1. I called my friends abroad and they came back with similar results. Due to this I believe niantic is doing it just for a while too keep us entertained and it will soon stop or maybe because gen 2 are less than gen 1 they are looking for a way to balance it.
Evolution Items
These are officialy the rarest items in the game. With a 0.14% drop rate from pokestops along with them not been able to be purchased it is nearly impossible to get one! Fear not for I shall tell you all known methods and speculations of getting them.
First of all if there is a pokemon nest of the pokemon you want to evolve near that pokestop there is a higher chance of getting that evolution items. To explain deeper as I was going home I met a pokestop which had a slowpoke nest. When I spun the disk I got a kings rock, though I might just be lucky😎.
7 day streak. If you get the seven day streak then you will almost definitely get an evolution item. Yep, though with there been eight items that accounts to two months. Bummer.
