Pokemon Go 2017

Many people are asking this question, what does pokemon go have in store for 2017. It's users have notably dropped since its early days and 2017 doesn't look promising but with what niantic has planned for 2017 the future is looking bright.

1.  Pokémon Trading
There have been many speculations about this particular feature. How it will work is that you connect with a friend via bluetooth and trade pokemon, pokeballs, revives, and so much more. You can even send gifts and link accounts.
2. Attack Notifications
You will receive a notification when your defending pokemon is being attacked.

3. Advanced battling mechanics

Gym battling will be a lot more than just tapping and swiping. A popular theory is that you will be saying the command for your pokemon to attack, for instance you can say electro ball for your pikachu to do the electro ball attack.

4. Real Time Battling
If you are playing pokemon go while your defending pokemon is being attacked you can be the one fighting instead of a computer.

5. PvP
The same way trading works (via bluetooth) is the same way pvp will work. Once you connect you can battle.

6. New Pokemon
New pokemon shall be revealed in plentiful numbers.  It shall be based on gens. Eg gen 2, gen 3, gen 4 .........

7. Mewtwo, Mew, and the legendary birds
They are definitely coming to pokemon go, a theory is that it's coming on pokemon go's one year anniversary. 
8. Tag Team
If more than two trainers are battling in a gym there can be a tag team match.

9. Motion Pokeballs
Determined on how you throw the motion pokeball, a pokeball in the game will be thrown the same way.

10. Pokémon Fighting
If you want to catch a pokemon you have the option to fight it to lower it's hp making it easier to catch. If you can even fight till it faints you can catch it without it jumping or deflecting pokeballs.

80 new pokemon

More new features are coming

We all are excited about  gen 2. The thing is its fading quickly. Why?! Cause of niantic! Remember when the baby pokemon came in, you know how we got bonuses, multipliers, increased odds, a new loading screen art! That was just for 7 pokemon. Because of how niantic celebrated and gave players more reason to play it took us flying. With 80 new pokemon niantic did nothing. They took a dish gave us our food with no bonuses or tiny umbrella in our drink then they ask for tips. Imagine giving a baby a spoon of food then that baby smiles, you will want to give him more, but if that baby takes a bowl of food without doing anything you will just be blank. That's what's happening. With that going on you may wonder what's next? John Hanke has an answer, A few days ago, Niantic CEO John Hanke gave a speech in Spain where he announced that there would be three major updates for Pokemon GO in 2017, with each of these updates expected to be as large as the recent Gen 2 update.
